I am often asked by women, why did I choose to specialize in boudoir as one of the genres of photography I feature.  Well, I have a confession.

Embracing Your Body Image & Self Worth

I remember one day in particular after getting out the shower, looking in the mirror and questioning what I saw.  I felt like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders, and it looked like it too!  I was not happy with myself.  I knew instinctively that I had a lot to be happy and blessed about though.  I am a Mom and grandma and know this body has seen some things.  I was questioning if I was good enough as I had experienced the trials of divorce and was feeling like I had not accomplished the things I wanted for my personal life.

I’m Getting Old

I had to do something to push myself from going down the road of ‘life is coming to an end and I am getting so old’.  So I decided to choose love of self, age and body.  Just working on my mindset has helped me to embrace all things, that make me ‘me’.  I know there are other women like me, that when they hit the 40 plus, 50 plus and 60 plus, wondered if they still ‘got it’.  Ladies, we damn well do!!!

I will guide you thru your session, just as what was done for me when I had mine done.  I have now been doing boudoir photography for over 10 years! I love helping you feel great for your big day.
